About Redora Films

Redora Films is a documentary production company based in San Francisco. Founder Leah Wolchok is an award-winning filmmaker who got her start in the documentary world at the Oxygen network. She is currently directing her first feature documentary, Very Semi-Serious, about New Yorker cartoonists. The film received the inaugural HBO/Tribeca Film Institute Documentary Fund grant.

Leah recently co-produced the ITVS documentary Ask Not, about the U.S. military's 'Don't Ask Don't Tell' policy. The film aired on the PBS series Independent Lens and screened at festivals nationwide.

Leah received a BA from Yale University and an MA in Documentary Film Production from Stanford University.

And despite all that name dropping, she really does like to laugh.
