About Redora Films
Redora Films is a documentary production company based in San Francisco. Founder Leah Wolchok is an award-winning filmmaker who got her start in the documentary world at the Oxygen network. She is currently co-producing the ITVS documentary Ask Not, about the U.S. military's 'Don't Ask Don't Tell' policy.
Her experimental short Living to Work screened at SILVERDOCS and won the artistic vision award at the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival. Her most recent film, City of Mermaids, won Best Documentary Short at the San Francisco Documentary Film Festival and the Coney Island Film Festival. Worth Saving, co-directed with Gretchen Hildebran, screened at the HBO Frame-by-Frame Documentary Film Series and is distributed by Fanlight Productions. The film is currently being used to promote overdose prevention awareness at universities and public health organizations across the country.
Leah received a BA from Yale University and an MA in Documentary Film Production from Stanford University.
